Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 or older
  • Liquor license certified is mandatory
  • Food server certificate required
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English and Spanish

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including late shifts, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Clean up spilled food or drink or broken dishes and remove empty bottles and trash
  • Wipe tables or seats with dampened cloths
  • Scrape and stack dirty dishes and carry dishes and other tableware to kitchens for cleaning
  • Fill beverage or ice dispensers
  • Ensure cleanliness of the dining rooms and other areas
  • Ensure cleanliness of dinnerware
  • Serve beverages, water and other drinks
  • Set up dining tables as requested
  • Stack and un-stack chairs and put tables in order
  • Set up and maintain the Expo area
  • Follow the cleaning calendar
  • Clean the restrooms and ensure they are maintained and stocked
  • Check restrooms every 30 minutes to ensure cleanliness during peak hours
  • Clean the back dock area and keep it organized
  • Clean and maintain the chemical area and keep it organized
  • Interact and coordinate with hosts and service staff to ensure effective service
  • Maintain best practices in maintaining cleanliness in bussing services
  • Listen to and comprehend instructions from guests and coworkers over background restaurant noise
