The role of Bus Runner at Resorts World Las Vegas is integral to the smooth and efficient operation of the resort's food and beverage services. This position serves as a vital support link between the front of house and back of house teams, contributing directly to a memorable and seamless guest dining experience. The Bus Runner is responsible for assisting with maintaining table cleanliness, delivering food and beverages, restocking supplies, and supporting servers and fountain workers during peak hours. The successful candidate will demonstrate polished professionalism, effective communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, luxury environment. As a team member, the Bus Runner will rotate among various food and beverage outlets within the resort as needed, ensuring that the highest service standards and core company values are always upheld. This role offers the opportunity to grow within a dynamic hospitality team while playing a key part in the overall guest satisfaction at one of Las Vegas's most prestigious resorts.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be 21 years of age
  • At least six months busser or food runner experience in a fast-paced luxury environment
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
  • Position required licensing
  • Must be tolerant to varying conditions of noise level temperature illumination and air quality
  • Prolonged sitting or standing
  • Bending and reaching
  • Full tray service to every guest
  • Transporting pushing pulling lifting and maneuvering items weighing up to 50 lbs
  • Eye hand coordination
  • Ability to comply with policies and procedures job description daily memorandums chemical labels and other instructions

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to effectively communicate in English
  • Polished appearance and demeanor
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations policies and procedures
  • Ability to competently fulfill tray service for every aspect of service to guests
  • Previous working experience in a large luxury resort setting preferred
  • Ability to work varied shifts including nights weekends and holidays preferred

Job Duties

  • Greet and welcome all guests in a professional manner
  • Maintain table cleanliness by removing finished courses and replenishing cutlery when needed
  • Assist in the delivery of food and beverage to support food servers and fountain workers
  • Polish silverware and glassware as needed to keep restaurant stocked at all times
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely fashion
  • Restock all required supplies and prepare venue table settings
  • Deliver beverages including alcoholic options to guests
  • Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized work area
  • Rotate to other food and beverage outlets or venues as necessary
  • Ensure all Resorts World core values and property and department standards are implemented and applied
  • Confident carrying varied sizes of trays with food and drinks
  • Use personal device or cellular phone for job related operational tasks and review company documents
  • Perform other duties as assigned
