Job Description
GPS Hospitality is a rapidly growing hospitality company dedicated to delivering exceptional dining experiences across its diverse portfolio of restaurant brands. With a strong presence in multiple states including Mississippi, GPS Hospitality focuses on creating an engaging, team-oriented culture that values quality food, outstanding customer service, and rigorous attention to safety and cleanliness standards. Founded on core principles of integrity, respect, and high-performance, GPS Hospitality has established a reputation for excellence within the food and beverage industry. The company invests heavily in employee development and career growth, providing numerous training programs and pathways for advancement within its restaurant management structure.\n\nIn the role of Restaurant General Manager (RGM) at our Bay St. Louis location in Mississippi, you will be at the forefront of our operations, ensuring that every aspect of the restaurant runs smoothly and efficiently. The RGM holds a critical leadership position with overall responsibility for maintaining GPS Hospitality's standards of quality, service, and cleanliness. You will lead a dedicated team of managers and crew members committed to delivering an outstanding guest experience every day. The role requires a hands-on leader capable of managing all shifts, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, late night, and weekend periods, guaranteeing consistent performance regardless of timing.\n\nKey responsibilities include managing financial performance by hitting sales and profit budgets, executing accurate projections and staff schedules, maintaining strict restaurant controls especially related to cash and inventory, and ensuring compliance with food safety and government regulations. You will play a vital role in hiring, training, and coaching a service-obsessed crew and shift leaders to uphold our high standards. The restaurant's public relations also fall within your domain by establishing frequent contact with the community and local business organizations to foster positive relations and brand loyalty.\n\nThe ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of General Manager experience in a restaurant or retail setting, possess excellent customer service skills, and demonstrate capability to perform effectively in high-pressure, high-volume environments. While a High School diploma or GED is preferred, ServSafe certification is a positive asset. This role demands strong critical thinking, exceptional communication skills at all management levels, and the ability to implement company policies, promotional activities, and management development initiatives. In return for your leadership and dedication, GPS Hospitality offers a robust performance-based bonus program, health and life benefits, a Health Savings Account (HSA) program, generous paid time off, and an employee rewards and recognition program. We are committed to fostering a positive work environment that encourages career development through structured training and ongoing performance reviews. As an Equal Opportunity Employer, GPS Hospitality values diversity and provides reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities to support their hiring process.
