Job Description

Zen Educate is a forward-thinking education staffing agency dedicated to connecting schools with passionate and qualified education professionals. The company focuses on simplifying the hiring process for educators while fostering better educational outcomes for students. Zen Educate prides itself on supporting inclusive and special education classrooms by providing substitute teachers with meaningful, full-year positions rather than short-term summer roles. Their emphasis on creating a supportive working environment ensures educators can grow professionally while making a lasting impact in the communities they serve.

As part of Zen Educate's team, substitute teachers have the opportunity to work within a single school building, supporting multiple classrooms and gaining valuable experience across different grade levels and subjects. This unique approach allows substitutes to build consistent relationships with students and staff, enhancing their teaching practice and classroom management skills. The role is full-time or part-time and offers flexible weekday schedules, providing stability without weekend demands. Substitute teachers are paid competitively, with daily rates ranging from $180 to $210, and pay is provided weekly. This role truly supports educators in advancing their careers by developing their expertise in inclusive and special education settings.

This position requires adaptability, dedication, and a commitment to creating a positive learning environment. Candidates will follow established lesson plans, facilitate student engagement through diverse learning methods, and ensure safety and order within the classroom. Physical stamina is necessary to assist students and manage classroom activities effectively throughout the day. Additionally, candidates must hold a valid Minnesota teaching license and possess professional-level English proficiency.
