Job Requirements

- Minimum of 3 years experience in kitchen management or related assistant general manager role
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays

- Proven leadership skills and experience managing a diverse team

- Familiarity with restaurant management software and inventory control systems
- Certification in ServSafe or equivalent
- Demonstrated success in cost control and budget management
Job Duties
- Assist the General Manager in managing daily restaurant operations including scheduling and financial performance monitoring
- Manage kitchen staff by providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations
- Oversee food preparation to ensure consistency, portion control, and adherence to recipes
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Collaborate with front-of-house management to coordinate service flow
- Monitor inventory levels and order kitchen supplies efficiently
- Implement cost control measures to optimize profitability
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention of kitchen team members
- Participate in management meetings to review performance and develop strategies
