As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for ensuring all food items meet the high standards of quality, consistency, and presentation our guests expect. You will work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining organization, cleanliness, and sanitation of your work area and equipment to comply with health and safety regulations. The role requires thorough knowledge of menu items, recipes, ingredients, cooking techniques, and presentation to uphold the authenticity of Italian dining. You will be expected to quickly learn new recipes and contribute actively to food cost control by managing inventory through proper dating, labeling, and rotation practices. Collaborative communication with the kitchen team and chefs is essential, as is the ability to adapt to anticipated business levels and changing menus. Physical endurance and the capacity to remain focused and organized during peak service times are also crucial.
