Job Requirements
- Minimum of one year experience in outside sales or food and beverage industry
- Valid driver's license, registered and insured vehicle
- Must live in Allen, Frisco, or Plano, TX
- Ability to lift and move cases of beer frequently
- Ability to climb, kneel, and stoop to arrange and display point-of-sale
- Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed
Job Qualifications
- One or more years of proven results-oriented experience in outside sales or within the food and beverage industry
- An intense competitive spirit with an assertive, confident personality
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift and move cases of beer frequently
- Ability to climb, kneel, and stoop to arrange and display point-of-sale
- Bachelor's degree preferred
Job Duties
- Sell our entire Boston Beer Company product portfolio
- 100% focus on selling products and/or upgrading number of product lines in retail accounts (bars/restaurants, liquor/grocery stores/convenient stores)
- Identify major accounts not currently selling Boston Beer Company products and develop a plan to establish business
- Improve conditions and merchandise accounts by building displays, resetting coolers, and displaying point-of-sale items to increase brand visibility
- Partner with distributors to ensure orders are placed, products are received, and business is growing at accounts
- Conduct waitstaff/bartender education, beer tastings, and evening promotions
- Travel regularly within the market to service retailers and wholesalers
