Located in Philadelphia’s bustling Center City district, this modern hotel features 223 elegant guest rooms and 2,200 square feet of flexible meeting space, making it a preferred destination for business travelers, events, and discerning guests seeking quality hospitality services. The role of Restaurant Server at Cambria Hotel Philadelphia Downtown Center City is a vital customer-facing position responsible for shaping guests’ dining experiences. As the face of the restaurant, the server will be instrumental in ensuring guests receive impeccable service from the moment they arrive, through their meal, and until their departure. This includes preparing the dining area for service, welcoming guests, providing detailed and enticing menu descriptions, accurately taking and confirming orders, responding to guest concerns, and delivering timely and precise bill presentation.
This role demands an individual who is not only quick on their feet and upbeat but who also values building meaningful connections with guests. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 4 years of food service experience, a solid knowledge base of food, wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Job Duties
- prepare restaurant pre-shift for service
- greet guests upon arrival or while moving through the restaurant

- collaborate with other servers and kitchen/bar staff
- assist guests with concerns resolving issues to their satisfaction
- present bills accurately and timely
