Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in kitchen or BOH leadership role
  • Proven ability to manage and lead a team
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Experience with inventory management and ordering systems
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts including nights and weekends
  • Ability to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment

Job Duties

  • Create lifetime guests by delivering uncompromising quality service
  • Lead the chef team in preparation of great tasting Italian food
  • Ensure highest level of food quality, consistency, cleanliness, safety, profitability, and fun
  • Hire, train, and retain BOH employees, develop their skills in cooking, food preparation, safety, and sanitation
  • Set and maintain standards in the BOH for food execution and production
  • Utilize review tracker and guest feedback results to improve food quality and guest satisfaction
  • Manage scheduling, ordering, inventory, and operational efficiency using NBO
  • Conduct line checks, menu tastings, and safety inspections
  • Provide regular training and feedback to employees and management
  • Manage food costs, labor, and training expenses to meet financial goals
  • Foster a fun, professional environment with open communication and accountability
  • Participate in manager meetings and support staff development and performance improvement
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and sanitation policies at all times
