Job Requirements

high school diploma or equivalent
one to two years of culinary experience or formal training preferred
ability to work in a fast-paced environment
strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
physical ability to endure prolonged periods of standing and active movement during shifts
ability to maintain focus and work independently
effective communication skills
commitment to comply with state health regulations and company standards

Job Qualifications

or equivalent combination of education and experience
demonstrated knowledge of menu items, recipes, and ingredients
ability to follow recipes to ensure consistency
ability to answer guest and team questions about the menu
strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Job Duties

demonstrates and shares a solid knowledge of the menu, and ensures proper preparation of all food items to consistently meet standards
demonstrates knowledge of all menu items, recipes, and ingredients
quickly learns new recipes, cooking techniques, and menu rollouts
follows recipes to ensure consistency in food
accurately answers guests' and family members' questions regarding the menu
contributes to food cost management through attentive dating, labeling, and rotation of inventory
follows prep sheet to ensure proper amounts and limits waste
