Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • one to two years of culinary experience or formal training preferred
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • physical ability to endure prolonged periods of standing and active movement during shifts
  • ability to maintain focus and work independently
  • effective communication skills
  • commitment to comply with state health regulations and company standards

Job Qualifications

  • one to two years experience and/or training preferred
  • or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • demonstrated knowledge of menu items, recipes, and ingredients
  • ability to follow recipes to ensure consistency
  • ability to answer guest and team questions about the menu
  • strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Job Duties

  • demonstrates and shares a solid knowledge of the menu, and ensures proper preparation of all food items to consistently meet standards
  • demonstrates knowledge of all menu items, recipes, and ingredients
  • quickly learns new recipes, cooking techniques, and menu rollouts
  • follows recipes to ensure consistency in food
  • accurately answers guests' and family members' questions regarding the menu
  • contributes to food cost management through attentive dating, labeling, and rotation of inventory
  • follows prep sheet to ensure proper amounts and limits waste
