The company also strongly values its employees, striving to provide a rewarding livelihood in a passionate and dynamic sector. With a robust portfolio of prestigious brands, Frederick Wildman and Sons continues to expand its footprint and influence in the competitive US market, blending heritage with innovation to meet evolving consumer tastes and market trends.
The role of Brand Manager for New World Wine is a key position within Frederick Wildman's marketing team, reporting directly to the Marketing Vice President. This role is crafted for a strategic yet hands-on professional who thrives on leading brand activities and supporting the execution of comprehensive brand plans for selected portfolios. As the central figure for brand strategy, the Brand Manager spearheads communication and coordination efforts among diverse stakeholders, including suppliers, sales forces, marketing leadership, and global brand teams. The position demands a delicate balance of creative vision, analytical insight, and operational execution to drive brand growth and market penetration effectively.
In this capacity, the Brand Manager will be instrumental in devising and implementing long-term brand strategies and annual plans that align with the company's goals and the realities of the US market. This includes facilitating daily interactions with brand owners to integrate supplier priorities and market demands, ensuring cohesive messaging and strategy execution. The role also entails collaboration with the national sales team to translate strategic initiatives into effective sales tactics and feedback mechanisms, vital for adaptive marketing approaches.

These initiatives are supported by project management responsibilities that ensure timely delivery of communication assets and the smooth execution of in-market events. Strategic research and analysis are also a core function, where the Brand Manager interprets market insights and trade data to identify growth opportunities and guide brand positioning.
Ideal candidates for this role are expected to wield strong marketing expertise, particularly in the wine and spirits domain, with excellent communication skills and proficiency in managing creative and technical teams. Experience in launching new products, utilizing digital analytics, and running multicultural campaigns will be highly advantageous.
