Job Requirements

  • open availability including weekends and holidays
  • ability to work 50 plus hours per week
  • previous back of house leadership experience
  • bilingual in English and Spanish
  • strong kitchen experience
  • effective communication skills
  • ability to maintain high standards under pressure

Job Qualifications

  • fully bilingual in English and Spanish
  • strong kitchen experience across multiple stations
  • previous BOH leadership experience such as lead supervisor or kitchen manager
  • comfortable working 50 plus hours per week in a fast paced environment
  • effective coaching and teaching skills
  • ability to stay calm under pressure and jump in wherever needed
  • understanding of ordering inventory and kitchen organization systems

Job Duties

  • lead from the line setting the pace standards and tone for the kitchen
  • coach and develop BOH team members and trainers in real time
  • support onboarding and training of new hires
  • ensure training programs are followed correctly and aligned with company standards
  • maintain consistency in recipes plating and food quality
  • identify gaps in performance and work to improve them
  • support and execute ordering processes
  • assist with inventory and food cost awareness
  • reinforce cleanliness food safety and health standards
  • split time between South First and Mueller based on business needs
  • bring consistency and best practices across both locations
  • partner with GMs and leaders to support staffing training and operations
