Job Requirements
- 3+ years of casualty represented or litigation third-party claim handling experience
- Proficient communication skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely managing time efficiently
- Familiarity with insurance coverage and liability determination
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of claims evaluation tools and platforms
- Availability to work Pacific time zone hours
- Not resident of California, Alaska, Hawaii, Washington, or Puerto Rico
- Dedicated private workspace and reliable internet with minimum 50 MB download and 5 MB upload speeds
- Willingness to obtain adjuster and/or appraiser license if required
- Successful background investigation
Job Qualifications
- 3+ years of casualty represented or litigation third-party claim handling experience
- Experience handling casualty claims in California and/or Southwest states preferred
- Proficient communication skills, especially over the phone
- Ability to work independently and remotely while managing time efficiently
- Familiarity with insurance policies, coverage, and liability determination
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of innovative tools and platforms for claim evaluation
Job Duties
- Investigate automobile accidents involving multiple vehicles with property damage and bodily injury where litigation is involved
- Assess coverage, liability, and damages for casualty claims
- Communicate effectively with customers, attorneys, and other stakeholders via phone, email, and text
- Negotiate claims settlements fairly using legal and business methodologies
- Utilize tools and platforms to evaluate claims and facilitate settlements
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within claims systems
- Work independently and efficiently managing a remote work schedule
