The Bartender role at Life Time is an essential position within the company’s cafe or bar setting, where the employee focuses on providing exceptional beverage service while upholding all state and local alcohol serving laws. This position requires preparing both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with attention to detail and quality, following specific recipes, and adding appropriate garnishes. The bartender interacts directly with customers and members, ensuring timely service, verifying age identification, processing payments, and addressing inquiries courteously. A clean and sanitary environment is maintained at all times by cleaning surfaces, furniture, and equipment regularly, as well as managing inventory to restock liquors, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic ingredients. The bartender is also responsible for reconciling the bar's cash register at the end of each shift. The role is ideal for individuals with 1 to 2 years of bartending experience and required certifications to serve alcohol. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 to 2 years of bartending experience
- Certified to serve alcohol
- CPR/AED certification required within the first 30 days of hire
- Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift more than 20 lbs
- Ability to work in a stationery position and move about the Cafe for prolonged periods of time
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Follows recipes in order to appropriately prepare cocktails and other drinks, including adding garnish
- Serves members and customers in a timely fashion, including checking identification, accepting payment, and answering any questions that may arise
- Maintains cleanliness by cleaning bar surface, furniture, and equipment and returning used dishware to the bar/kitchen
- Maintains supplies by re-stocking liquors, wines, beer, and non-alcoholic ingredients and replacing beer barrels
- Reconciles the bar's cash register at the end of the shift
