Job Description

3Fish, Inc. is a reputable company operating within the food production industry, known for its commitment to delivering quality products and maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency. As a dedicated employer, 3Fish, Inc. emphasizes a supportive work environment that values professionalism, attention to detail, and employee development. The company is an Equal Opportunity Employer and participates in E-Verify to ensure all employment offers are contingent upon successful completion of the employment eligibility verification process.

The organization is currently seeking a dependable and service-oriented bilingual professional to join their team as a Front Reception and Human Resources Administrative Support specialist. This role uniquely combines exceptional customer service skills with the administrative capabilities necessary to smooth daily HR operations. The ideal candidate will be proficient in both English and Spanish, facilitating effective communication in a diverse workplace.

This position primarily involves managing the front reception area, serving as the welcoming face for visitors, applicants, vendors, and employees. In addition to maintaining a professional and organized reception environment, the role includes implementing facility sign-in requirements and handling a variety of incoming communications such as phone calls, mail, and deliveries. The specialist will also provide comprehensive support during interviews, meetings, tours, and walk-in applicant scenarios.

Beyond reception duties, this role involves significant support to the Human Resources Department. Responsibilities include preparing detailed HR reports like the daily staffing report and assisting with data entry, auditing employee records, documenting attendance, managing onboarding paperwork, maintaining locker records, and facilitating employee communications. The specialist will play a key part in the annual benefits open enrollment process by distributing materials, assisting employees with form completion, tracking submission statuses, and directing complex inquiries to HR specialists or benefits providers.

This role demands exceptional organizational skills and discretion in handling sensitive personnel, medical, applicant, and administrative records. The ability to maintain confidentiality at all times is essential. Additionally, the candidate will contribute to employee engagement initiatives by assisting with bulletin boards, organizing company events, and issuing employee notices.

An important aspect of the position includes engaging with hourly production employees during their breaks to answer basic questions and connect them with appropriate HR resources. The role also requires a weekly schedule adjustment to provide onsite support during the third shift, ensuring that even non-traditional hours are covered and employee needs are met consistently.

The workplace setting is primarily an office and reception area within an active food production facility, requiring occasional visits to production-support zones where personal protective equipment (PPE), food safety protocols, good manufacturing practices (GMP), and cooler temperatures are standard. This dynamic environment demands flexibility and a proactive approach to workplace safety and operational procedures.

Overall, 3Fish, Inc. offers an excellent opportunity for a bilingual professional seeking to leverage customer service expertise alongside administrative skills in a critical support role within the food production sector. The position promises growth potential, engagement in meaningful HR activities, and the chance to work within a respected and supportive company culture. Candidates who thrive on organization, professional communication, and community building in the workplace will find this position rewarding and impactful.
