The role of Customer Service Representative at PFG Customized Distribution is pivotal in maintaining strong relationships with customers and ensuring their satisfaction as a trusted distributor. This position involves assisting customers with order entries, addressing inquiries, solving problems efficiently, and managing various operational tasks within a standardized framework. The role demands professionalism in communicating and interacting with customers, vendors, and co-workers, ensuring that all questions are answered accurately and promptly. The customer service representative acts as a vital team member, striving to support the company’s objectives and provide exemplary service.

Key responsibilities include processing customer orders and credits, accurately inputting order and invoicing information, and assisting customers with order-related problems. The position also requires working closely with vendors to request samples for customers, performing daily administrative tasks such as checking faxes and mail, writing sample requests and special orders, and attending training and customer service meetings. The role is dynamic and requires flexibility, as the representative may be assigned additional duties to best serve company needs.

Candidates should possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent, with at least 12 months of customer service experience in a warehouse, foodservice, or related industry. Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are highly valued. The role requires availability to work Monday through Friday from 7 am until the end of the shift, along with rotating Saturdays and holidays as needed.
