As a Bilingual Leasing Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in marketing available apartments, conducting property tours, processing leases, and managing renewals. Your fluency in English and Spanish will be crucial in communicating lease agreements, policies, and community guidelines effectively, helping to build trust and satisfaction among a diverse client base.
This full-time position offers a competitive pay rate of $17 to $22 per hour and requires availability for weekend shifts when necessary. The Leasing Consultant will report directly to the property manager and work closely with other team members to maintain high occupancy rates and resident retention. Ideal candidates will bring experience from leasing, customer service, sales, real estate, hospitality, or retail sectors and possess strong interpersonal skills to engage with diverse personalities.
Key responsibilities include greeting potential residents, conducting apartment tours, assessing housing needs, assisting with leasing documentation, collecting payments, and following up on leads. Leveraging creative marketing techniques to attract new residents and ensuring all units are move-in ready is essential. Moreover, managing the lease renewal process and retention efforts, along with timely communication via calls and emails, will be integral parts of this role.

Job Requirements
- Fluent in both English and Spanish
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Exposure to social media
- Knowledge of leasing software is a plus
- Ability to work weekends as required
Job Qualifications
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- Experience in leasing, customer service, sales, real estate, hospitality, or retail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to engage diverse personalities effectively
- Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Exposure to social media
- Knowledge of leasing software such as Yardi, Blue Moon, Entrata, Onesite, MRI is a plus
Job Duties
- Greet prospective residents and give tours while determining housing needs, preferences, and close leads
- Assist new residents with leasing paperwork, including applications, lease agreements, and employment/credit checks
- Collect security deposits, rent, and any other charges associated with resident move-ins
- Communicate all lease and community policies to new and current residents
- Follow up with all leads and prospects that did not lease
- Ensure apartments are move-in ready by inspecting, and adding last-minute touches when appropriate
- Seek out new residents with creative marketing techniques
- Manage the lease renewal process and retention efforts
- Promptly respond to calls, emails, and inquiries
