Known for its diverse and well-established brands such as Albertsons, Safeway, Vons, Jewel-Osco, ACME, Shaw's, Tom Thumb, United Supermarkets, and many more, Albertsons embodies a commitment to innovation, customer satisfaction, and community involvement. The company’s vision is to be recognized as a retail leader admired for its strong national presence combined with deep local roots, making shopping a friendly, fun, and inspiring experience for all customers. Albertsons prides itself on creating a workplace culture that values diversity, promotes inclusivity, and supports opportunities for all employees.

As a Beverage Steward at Albertsons Companies, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service through your passion for wines, beers, and spirits. This position is exciting and dynamic, as no two days are the same. The role requires a genuine enthusiasm for engaging with customers, sharing knowledge about a wide portfolio of beverages, and guiding customers through the tasting and sampling experience. You will be instrumental in helping customers discover perfect pairings between beverages and complementary foods like cheese, meats, and appetizers, enhancing their overall shopping experience.

This position calls for individuals who are 21 years of age or older and who are passionate about planning and executing tasting events that energize both themselves and customers. Being detail-oriented about the finer aspects of wine, beer, and liquor will enhance your ability to succeed in this role. The Beverage Steward takes great pride in contributing quality service whether the task is big or small and is eager to grow their knowledge continually. This role blends customer service with education and community involvement, making it a rewarding position for professionals passionate about beverages and customer interaction.

Beyond the engaging and informative nature of the role, Albertsons Companies offers an inclusive workplace culture rooted in its core values such as putting people first, being customer-driven, valuing diverse perspectives, raising the bar continuously, acting with ownership, functioning as one team, fostering belonging, and committing to a healthy future. Employees enjoy competitive wages, flexible work schedules, and a comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental insurance, 401k, paid time off, and associate discounts. There is also a unique feature allowing access to up to 50% of earned wages before payday through a partnership with Stream, which underscores Albertsons’ commitment to supporting its associates’ financial well-being.

Working as a Beverage Steward is an excellent opportunity to join a nationally strong, yet locally engaged company that values community and personal development. With leaders invested in training and career growth, you will be empowered to bring your flavors and best self to the table in this vibrant, evolving food and well-being environment.
