Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug test and background check
- Compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Authorization to work in the United States or ability to obtain it
- Ability to follow written and verbal English instructions
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 70 lbs, carry, push, and perform repetitive tasks
- Willingness to work in varying indoor and outdoor conditions
- Knowledge of alcohol compliance and safety regulations
- TIPS training required prior to position start date
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently
- Proficient computer and basic math skills
- Knowledge of retail operations and compliance
- 3 to 6 years of supervisory experience preferred
- Completion of TIPS training prior to starting
- Ability to operate retail equipment and systems
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Integrity and reliability in work practices
- Authorization to work in the United States
Job Duties
- Sell alcoholic beverages according to legal and company standards
- Check customer identification for age verification
- Monitor customers to prevent removal of open containers from store
- Maintain retail operations standards, including daily stocking and date checks
- Perform fresh department discard transactions
- Efficiently use supplies to minimize waste
- Operate and maintain department equipment and machines
- Ensure accurate signage, pricing, and shelf labels
- Conduct test scans to verify price accuracy and taxability
- Maintain clean, safe, and orderly work areas
- Prepare beverages including beer and wine for patrons
- Sell cups for hot and cold drinks
- Advise customers on beverage selections and storage
- Manage customer orders efficiently
- Provide attentive and friendly customer service
- Suggest additional products to encourage sales
- Process customer transactions accurately
- Maintain register control to ensure cash drawer balance
- Perform other related duties as assigned
