Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in beverage service or hospitality preferred
  • Ability to work assigned shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must possess a valid State Service License
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to adhere to company dress code and grooming standards

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in beverage service or hospitality preferred
  • Knowledge of state liquor laws
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
  • Basic cash handling skills
  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to handle fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Report to work at the assigned time in uniform with name tag, state badge and P.O.S computer card
  • Read Bulletin Board on daily basis to remain current on information regarding the day's business
  • Perform daily opening and closing requisition for ordering beverage supplies
  • Welcome guests upon arrival in a polite and professional manner
  • Properly check guest IDs for serving alcoholic beverages
  • Prepare non-alcoholic beverages and garnish each according to standard recipes
  • Provide fast (10 minutes or less round time), friendly and professional beverage service carrying full trays on every round
  • Take drink orders, communicate with bartender, assist in drink preparation and present drinks to guests
  • Maintain clean and stocked workstation
  • Handle money according to proper cash handling policies
  • Monitor guest alcohol consumption and intervene as needed according to guidelines
  • Promote all casino events, programs and amenities
  • Collaborate effectively with beverage servers, bartenders, barbacks, beverage supervisors and slots supervisors
  • Provide personalized service and use guest names
  • Resolve service problems in accordance with guidelines
  • Maintain knowledge of state liquor laws and company policies
  • Perform any other duties assigned by supervisor
