Job Description

Prime Hospitality Group, established in 2017, has rapidly grown to become a major player in the hospitality industry, particularly known as the largest franchise group for Ruth's Chris Steak House with twelve locations under its belt. With roots firmly planted in the fine dining sector, the company has expanded its portfolio to include diverse food and beverage concepts along with ventures into the hotel hospitality space. This expansion demonstrates PHG's commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences through a wide-reaching collection of service-focused brands. The group prides itself on fostering a supportive and empowering work environment where team members are encouraged to develop their skills, grow professionally, and achieve their career goals.

As an employer, PHG emphasizes passion, values, and excellence in hospitality. The company is dedicated to ensuring that every guest encounter is memorable, blending high-quality service with innovative culinary experiences. Joining PHG means becoming part of a team that upholds these principles and works collaboratively to maintain outstanding standards across all locations.

The role of Beverage Manager at Prime Hospitality Group is a critical leadership position within the front-of-house management team. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Beverage Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring operational excellence in the beverage department. This position requires a hands-on leader who can oversee day-to-day restaurant activities, maintain high service standards, and manage beverage inventory meticulously. The Beverage Manager is responsible for ensuring that cleanliness, sanitation, safety, and service quality adhere to both company policies and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities include managing front-of-house cleaning and maintenance tasks, exercising sound judgment in operational decisions, and helping to enforce compliance with federal, state, and local laws. The Beverage Manager also supports staff training efforts, emphasizing product knowledge—especially related to wine—and customer service skills that drive suggestive selling and enhance guest satisfaction.

Inventory management is a notable aspect of the job, involving oversight of beverage stock levels, wine lockers, and inventory reporting processes. Scheduling support for bar staff and active participation in staff meetings to promote ongoing development and operational improvements are also essential components of this role.

This career opportunity is suited for individuals with strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a passion for wine and beverage service. Experience in training teams and managing complex schedules will help ensure success in this role. PHG offers an inclusive and dynamic workplace with opportunities for continuous learning and growth within a renowned hospitality brand. Employment at PHG also includes access to competitive perks and benefits designed to enhance employee well-being and satisfaction. The position requires work authorization in the United States, reflecting the company’s commitment to compliance and fair employment practices.
