The Beverage General Manager at Live! Job Qualifications
- Five to seven years of experience in restaurant management and supervision in a fine dining facility preferred
- high school diploma or equivalent required
- some college preferred
- Serv-Safe and RAMP certified
- full working knowledge of POS systems
- knowledge of approved Responsible Gaming Program
- strong mathematical skills including budgeting, profit/loss concepts, percentages, and variances
- ability to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license as determined by the State and Gaming Commission
Job Duties
- Adhere to, implement and follow all policies of the department and company
- supervise and assist in daily training of managers and hourly employees and maintain open communication between all personnel working in department
- maintain appropriate beverage inventories and quality control with the service of alcohol
- ensure quality control and timeliness of beverage service
- assist in controlling labor/beverage cost for department
- ensure compliance with all applicable liquor laws and PLCB regulations
- ensure compliance with all federal and state gaming regulations
- achieve budgeted revenues, control expenses and labor costs, and maximize profitability within all beverage areas
- maintain company operating standards
- respond to guest trends, needs, issues, comments and problems to ensure a quality experience and enhance future sales prospects
- extend complementary services in accordance with the property comp matrix
- perform other duties as assigned
