The Beverage General Manager at Live! Casino & Hotel is a crucial leadership role focused on overseeing all beverage operations to ensure top-tier service and compliance within a fast-paced casino environment. This position requires a strong dedication to delivering exceptional guest experiences through meticulous inventory management, cost control, and adherence to beverage quality standards. The role involves supervising and training a team of managers and hourly employees, ensuring open communication across the department, and maintaining compliance with all liquor laws, gaming regulations, and safety procedures. The manager is responsible for driving revenue while controlling expenses and labor costs, fostering a culture of hospitality, and responding effectively to guest feedback to enhance sales opportunities.

The Beverage General Manager must possess a keen understanding of industry trends and operational metrics, applying this knowledge to optimize performance and profitability. The role demands excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to work under pressure, and strict compliance with health, sanitation, and OSHA regulations. Job Qualifications

Five to seven years of experience in restaurant management and supervision in a fine dining facility preferred
high school diploma or equivalent required
some college preferred
Serv-Safe and RAMP certified
full working knowledge of POS systems
knowledge of approved Responsible Gaming Program
strong mathematical skills including budgeting, profit/loss concepts, percentages, and variances
ability to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license as determined by the State and Gaming Commission

Job Duties

Adhere to, implement and follow all policies of the department and company
supervise and assist in daily training of managers and hourly employees and maintain open communication between all personnel working in department
maintain appropriate beverage inventories and quality control with the service of alcohol
ensure quality control and timeliness of beverage service
assist in controlling labor/beverage cost for department
ensure compliance with all applicable liquor laws and PLCB regulations
ensure compliance with all federal and state gaming regulations
achieve budgeted revenues, control expenses and labor costs, and maximize profitability within all beverage areas
maintain company operating standards
respond to guest trends, needs, issues, comments and problems to ensure a quality experience and enhance future sales prospects
extend complementary services in accordance with the property comp matrix
perform other duties as assigned
