The Bell Team at Southall Farm and Inn serves as the warm, knowledgeable, and service-driven ambassadors of the property, playing a crucial role in shaping guests' first and lasting impressions. This role is focused on creating a seamless arrival and departure experience, supporting guests with luggage handling, property orientation, transportation assistance, and responding to various guest service requests. Bell Team members greet guests with genuine warmth that aligns with the inn’s brand standards, assist with luggage unloading and delivery, escort guests to their accommodations while providing helpful insights about the property, and coordinate with other departments such as Valet and Guest Services to ensure smooth check-ins and check-outs. They also provide knowledgeable recommendations about the farm, culinary experiences, wellness options, and activities available, enhancing each guest’s visit.

The role demands outstanding customer service skills and a driven attitude to create memorable, five-star experiences, always reflecting the inn's blend of refined luxury and genuine Southern hospitality. Bell Team members are essential to maintaining a clean and organized lobby and bell desk area, supporting valet and transportation operations safely, and responding promptly and professionally to guests’ amenity requests and needs. Job Duties

  • Greet all guests warmly upon arrival, offering genuine hospitality aligned with Southall’s brand standards
  • Assist with unloading luggage, delivering items promptly to guest rooms, and ensuring safe handling at all times
  • Escort guests to their accommodations while providing a brief property orientation and answering questions
  • Coordinate with the Valet and Guest Services teams to ensure smooth check-ins and check-outs
  • Retrieve luggage upon departure and assist with transportation or valet coordination
  • Provide knowledgeable recommendations about Southall’s farm, culinary experiences, wellness offerings, and activities
  • Assist guests with transportation arrangements, including shuttles, valet retrieval, and local area guidance
  • Deliver amenities, packages, and special requests promptly and professionally
  • Maintain communication with Front Office, Housekeeping, Valet, and Concierge teams to anticipate guest needs
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lobby and bell desk areas
  • Support valet and transportation operations as needed, following all safety guidelines
