We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bell Staff/Concierge team members to join our hospitality team. This role is essential in creating a warm and lasting first impression for our guests as they arrive. As a Bell Staff/Concierge, you will be the face of the hotel, welcoming guests warmly and assisting them throughout their stay. Your primary responsibilities include promoting hotel facilities and providing precise information about local attractions, events, transportation, and directions to ensure guests can maximize their time in Greenville. You will assist guests by handling their luggage with care — loading, unloading, and delivering belongings in a timely manner — escorting guests to their rooms, and demonstrating room features. Additionally, you will coordinate closely with other hotel departments to maintain smooth communication and operation flow. This position also involves keeping track of baggage claim tickets, organizing luggage storage areas, and adhering strictly to hotel safety and security protocols related to guest keys and personal information. Responding promptly and professionally to guest complaints and special requests is a critical part of this role, ensuring a seamless and pleasant guest experience. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Physical ability to lift and carry luggage
- Prior experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Must pass background and substance abuse screening
- Ability to follow safety and security procedures

Job Duties
- Warmly welcome guests creating a positive first impression of hotel
- Promote hotel facilities and provide accurate information on hotel facilities local attractions events transportation arrangement and directions around the community
- Maintain effective communication amongst the bell staff and with all hotel departments
- Load and unload guest luggage and other belongings from a variety of vehicles escort guests to and from guest rooms transport luggage belongings to and from guest rooms bell closet and other hotel areas navigate bell carts carefully through public areas in and out of elevators and in corridors demonstrate features of guest room and promote hotel facilities deliver guest faxes amenities etc
- Complete baggage claim tickets read and match luggage tags to tickets detach and give to guest their portion of claim ticket
- Organize and store luggage in designated area
- Ensure the timely delivery of guest luggage packages gifts messages facsimiles newspapers etc
- Follow security procedures on the handling of guest room keys and the protection of guest-related information
- Listen to and promptly act to correct guest problems and complaints
- Clean and organize hotel front entrance bell stand area and bell closet including daily light cleaning
