Job Description

HHM Hotels is a renowned hospitality company dedicated to providing exceptional guest experiences across its diverse portfolio of hotel properties. Known for its commitment to excellence and exemplary service standards, HHM Hotels blends luxury and comfort to create welcoming environments where guests feel valued and cared for. With a strong emphasis on sustainability and community engagement, HHM Hotels is continuously innovating to enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency. The company prides itself on nurturing employee growth and maintaining a supportive work culture that encourages professional development and personal success. HHM Hotels offers competitive wages along with a comprehensive benefits package to attract and retain top talent in the hospitality industry.

The Bell Captain role at HHM Hotels is a pivotal position focused on creating memorable first impressions by warmly welcoming guests upon arrival. This role involves professional interaction with guests, providing luggage handling services including loading, unloading, tagging, and storage, and escorting guests to their rooms. The Bell Captain is expected to offer detailed overviews of guest rooms, amenities, and hotel services, ensuring guests have all the information needed for a comfortable stay. Additionally, this position supports room changes, assists in stocking pantry supplies, and manages deliveries to guest rooms. Bell Captains also serve as informal ambassadors for the local area, maintaining information brochures and lists of popular local attractions and transportation options. Given the dynamic nature of hotel operations, Bell Captains may perform house attendant functions during staff shortages and are encouraged to actively contribute to increasing guest satisfaction scores. Adherence to safety standards and environmental sustainability practices, as outlined in HHM Hotels' EarthView program, is a vital part of the role. The Bell Captain position offers a clear growth trajectory that includes advancement opportunities to Guest Service Agent, Concierge, Guest Services Manager, Assistant General Manager, and General Manager roles, providing a robust career pathway within the hospitality industry.

Compensation for this position is set at $21.60 per hour, reflecting HHM Hotels' commitment to competitive pay. Working as a Bell Captain requires physical stamina including standing for prolonged periods, walking extensively, pushing luggage carts, lifting weights up to 50 pounds, and performing tasks that involve bending and reaching. The work schedule may vary, encompassing holidays, weekends, and alternate shifts, illustrating the need for flexibility and dedication. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality, eager to deliver exceptional guest service, and interested in embarking on a meaningful career journey with one of the industry's respected establishments.
