Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Possess Behavioral Health Technician certification
- High school diploma with two years full-time behavioral health work experience or Associate's degree with six months full-time behavioral health experience or Bachelor's or Master's degree
- Bilingual preferred but not required
- Flexible work schedule including weekends and evenings
- Valid Arizona or other state driver's license
- Valid automobile insurance
- Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card or ability to obtain within 90 days
- Valid CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Driving record meeting agency auto insurance carrier’s coverage requirements
Job Qualifications
- Behavioral Health Technician certification
- High school diploma with two years of full-time behavioral health work experience or Associate's degree with six months of full-time behavioral health experience, Bachelor's degree, or Master's degree
- Bilingual preferred but not required
- Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule including weekends and evenings
- Valid driver's license
- Valid automobile insurance
- Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card or ability to obtain within 90 days
- Valid CPR/First Aid certifications or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Driving record meeting agency and insurer requirements
Job Duties
- Engage youth participants by taking them out into the community
- Listen to the needs of the individual
- Provide mentoring and inspire hope towards building resilience
- Engage individuals, family members, and key stakeholders
- Complete documentation that supports services and illustrates the individual's experience
- Advocate for and with the individual and family
- Provide ongoing support by listening and helping communication, and liaising with clinical staff to improve quality
- Assist with identifying and connecting individuals to community supports
- Provide transportation to and from program sites and community events as needed
- Be creative, energetic, flexible, and serve as a healthy role model
- Facilitate skill building and group activities as needed
