Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Compliance with all alcohol service laws and regulations
- Ability to pass a background check and any required licensing
- Strong customer service orientation
Job Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of beverage preparation and mixology
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
- Familiarity with cash handling and point-of-sale systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to educate others and work collaboratively in a team
Job Duties
- Welcoming customers and determining beverage preferences through engaging conversation
- Informing customers about new beverages and specials
- Being knowledgeable of all menu items and accurately responding to customer questions
- Selecting, mixing, garnishing, and serving beverages to customers
- Checking identification to ensure legal age for alcohol purchase
- Providing responsible service of alcoholic beverages compliant with all laws and regulations
- Taking inventory and ordering supplies to keep bar well-stocked
- Preparing menu items according to Fogo de Chao recipes and guidelines
- Handling cash, credit, and debit transactions with accuracy
- Educating and assisting coworkers in bar vocabulary and beverage knowledge
