The role currently open at this property is that of a Hotel Bar Attendant. This position plays a critical part in delivering the distinguished Drury hospitality experience by opening and closing the hotel bar in accordance with company policies and procedures. The bar attendant is responsible for maintaining a clean and well-organized food prep and bar area while providing attentive service and assistance to guests. A key part of the job is to uphold high standards of integrity, service, and hospitality, continually promoting the Drury culture with both customers and co-workers. The role demands someone who not only has a general knowledge of the hotel and local area but also is capable of answering guest inquiries about amenities, services, and events happening in the vicinity. The ideal candidate must be skilled in mixing a diverse range of drinks and operating bar-related equipment such as cash registers, dishwashers, speed batch ovens, and microwaves. Additionally, excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically with customers and team members in English are essential. This position requires physical stamina and flexibility, as attendants need to efficiently move around the bar area, manage currency transactions, work independently or in teams, and adapt to varying shifts including weekends and holidays.
