The Bartender position at Delaware North Sportservice is a fast-paced, exciting role that involves serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages responsibly while creating an excellent guest experience. As a bartender, you will be responsible for fulfilling drink orders, maintaining the bar’s stock, and ensuring compliance with all alcohol service policies and procedures. This role requires high energy, attention to detail, and the capability to work efficiently during busy events such as the 2026 State Fair and various Wisconsin Expo events. The position offers a wage of $10.50 per hour, excluding tipped earnings, and provides employees with the opportunity to earn additional income through tips.

Job Requirements

  • At least 18 years old
  • At least 1 year of high volume bar experience
  • Need to be ServSafe certified or obtain the certification
  • Must be available for 2026 State Fair and Wisconsin Expo events
  • Previous experience using a computerized point of sale system and credit card processing
  • Flexible work schedule

Job Duties

  • Fulfill drink orders from guests and servers, collect payment
  • Mix drinks following recipes and using company-standardized proportions
  • Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly, request identification, and adhere to all alcohol service policies and procedures
  • Complete sales and inventory reports accurately
  • Maintain bar stock by ordering liquors, beverages, condiments, and supplies
