The role of the Part Time Bartender at Shaughnessy's Pub is focused on delivering outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly and preparing beverages according to established standards. This position is integral in maintaining the bar's daily setup which involves stocking beer, wine, spirits, and related supplies, as well as ensuring the freshness and quality of garnishes and perishables. The bartender will skillfully mix drinks following standard recipes while adhering to portion control and all relevant legal regulations concerning alcohol service. This role requires handling transactions accurately, maintaining a clean and secure bar environment, and collaborating with coworkers to ensure smooth service. Ideal candidates are self-motivated, professional, and team-oriented, with the interpersonal skills necessary to enhance the guest experience consistently. Maintaining good attendance and the ability to take on additional job-related duties as needed also form key components of this role.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year bartending experience preferred
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service
- Must comply with all applicable state and federal alcohol regulations

Job Duties
- Maintain proper and adequate bar setup daily including requisitioning and stocking beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws, stirrers, condiments and produce
- Maintain stock, cut, and store fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and perishables daily
- Greet guests courteously and promote and document drink orders
- Mix, garnish, and present drinks using standard ingredient recipes and portion control
- Abide by all State, Federal and Corporate requirements related to alcoholic beverage service
- Input orders into register and create checks for guests including those served by other beverage servers
- Receive cash, make change, verify charges, record charges and execute vouchers properly
- Lock up and store all beverage, food and equipment items and secure cash deposits
- Comply with attendance rules and be available to work regularly
- Perform any other job-related duties as assigned
