As a Bartender at AREA15, you become an integral part of this innovative entertainment landscape, serving guests across various restaurant venues within the district. This role requires maintaining high standards of guest service in high-energy, fast-paced settings while ensuring compliance with all Southern Nevada Health District (SNHD) regulations and standards. Bartenders are responsible for delivering quality food and beverage service, managing drink orders, mastering mixology techniques, and engaging with guests in a professional and friendly manner. They also contribute to the festive and immersive atmosphere by participating in promotional activities and themed events, sometimes dressing in costumes or designated apparel.

Bartenders at AREA15 must exhibit strong communication skills, an in-depth knowledge of spirits, wines, beers, and cocktails, and proficiency in suggestive selling techniques to enhance guest satisfaction and sales performance. Alongside bartending duties, they are expected to assist with bar setup, maintain cleanliness standards, handle transaction processes accurately, and ensure proper inventory management during shifts. Job Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older
Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
Minimum 1-3 years bartending experience in high-volume beverage venue
Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, champagne, beer, and mixed cocktails
Valid work cards including health, alcohol awareness, and non-gaming
Ability to work in environments with noise, crowds, flashing lights, and smoke
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods
Able to work outdoors in all seasons with exposure to heat and sun
Availability for varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Must be proficient in English
Additional language skills preferred

Job Qualifications

Comfortable in a creative, entrepreneurial start-up environment
Ability to make decisions and solve problems in a fast-paced environment
Minimum 1-3 years bartending experience in high-volume beverage venue
Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, champagne, beer, and mixed cocktails
Valid work cards including health, alcohol awareness, and non-gaming
Ability to work in varying noise levels, crowds, smoke, and flashing light environments
Physical ability to push and lift up to 50lbs
Able to stand for entire scheduled shift
Ability to perform reaching and stooping motions repeatedly
Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Availability for varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Proficiency in English
Additional language skills preferred

Job Duties

Take accurate food and beverage orders and input them into the ordering system
Communicate any food allergies or special dietary needs to the kitchen staff
Ensure prompt, accurate, and high-quality food service to guests
Provide attentive service to guests, including refilling drinks and attending to their needs during meals
Mix beverages and serve food to guests, adhering to department policies and procedures
Pose for pictures, in uniform or designated apparel, for promotional activities
Participate and dress up in costumes for events, movie or themed parties
Consistently provide outstanding service to all guests, maintaining a professional demeanor and friendly attitude
Set up bar for full operation, ensuring all supplies are available
Maintain a clean workstation abiding by SNHD standards, including washing and polishing glassware and dishes
Accurately describe product details and educate guests on specialty items
Utilize suggestive selling for top products, upsell such as alcohol add-ons
Handle credit transactions accurately
Provide accurate inventory count prior and at the end of every shift
Monitor potentially intoxicated or disruptive guests and report to manager
Respond to guest concerns and resolve complaints with a positive attitude
Maintain a professional and well-groomed appearance
Perform other duties as assigned
