Job Description

Signia by Hilton La Cantera Resort and Spa is a distinguished luxury resort nestled in the picturesque Texas Hill Country, offering guests a serene and upscale experience amidst rolling hills and majestic live oaks. This expansive destination boasts over 140,000 square feet of event space, making it an ideal venue for conferences, weddings, and other special gatherings. Guests indulge in premium amenities including a luxury spa, multiple outdoor pools, a kid's camp for family-friendly fun, and an 18-hole championship golf course designed to challenge and delight enthusiasts of all skill levels. Dining options are abundant with four restaurants and five bars delivering bold and diverse flavors, catering to every palate. Conveniently located near premier shopping destinations, the excitement of Six Flags Fiesta Texas, and the San Antonio Airport, the resort marries convenience with luxury for an all-encompassing hospitality experience.

The resort is currently seeking a part-time Bartender to join their vibrant team. This role involves much more than mixing drinks; it is about creating memorable guest experiences by bringing energy, warmth, and exceptional customer service to the bar. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of bartending experience and be at least 21 years old, ready to take on both opening and closing shifts with weekend availability. With an upbeat and friendly attitude, the bartender will delight guests, ensuring every interaction is positive and memorable. Responsibilities include preparing and serving beverages to exact recipe standards, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of bar supplies, and managing inventory to ensure product quality and freshness. The bartender also handles transactions professionally using a point-of-sale system, addresses guest concerns tactfully especially in challenging situations involving intoxicated guests, and maintains compliance with health and safety regulations. This role requires teamwork, integrity, leadership, and a passion for hospitality, all guiding Hilton’s mission to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Working at Signia by Hilton La Cantera also means becoming part of a globally recognized brand renowned for its award-winning workplace culture. Hilton invests heavily in employee well-being offering a wide range of benefits such as incredible travel perks with deeply discounted hotel stays, paid parental leave, caregiving support, mental health resources, generous paid time off, comprehensive health and welfare plans, and financial security programs including retirement savings options and an employee stock purchase plan. As a Hilton team member, you not only contribute to creating outstanding guest stays but also enjoy a fulfilling and supportive career path characterized by growth, opportunity, and inclusivity. This position offers a unique chance to join an industry leader dedicated to fostering a welcoming and collaborative workplace where every member feels valued and empowered to succeed.
