Currently, Tao Group Hospitality is seeking skilled and passionate Bartenders to join its dynamic team. This role is crucial in enhancing the guest experience by preparing and serving all alcoholic beverages with precision and care. Bartenders are responsible for actively taking orders, delivering comprehensive food and beverage service, and ensuring that guests feel welcomed and valued through polite and courteous interaction. The position requires a thorough understanding of the menu offerings, including food and beverage specials, as well as adherence to all state regulations and company standards related to alcohol service and sanitation.
The successful candidate will work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment that embodies the vibrant nightlife culture of Tao Group Hospitality venues. This role demands excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a strong ability to work collaboratively within a team setting. Bartenders will engage extensively with guests, providing menu presentations, handling allergy and dietary inquiries, and entering orders accurately into the POS system alongside responsible cash and payment card handling. Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bar area, stocking supplies, and performing opening and closing duties are also essential responsibilities.
In addition to delivering exceptional service in the bar and lounge areas, Bartenders are expected to comply strictly with health department and company sanitation standards, attend pre-service meetings and training sessions, and embrace continuous learning opportunities to stay knowledgeable about the Tao Group Hospitality brand and its partners. Job Requirements
- 1-2 years of professional beverage experience
- previous bartender experience
- ability to write and verbally communicate
- must have good positive energy throughout the day
- must be able to print legibly for team members, management, and guests to read

Job Qualifications
- 1-2 years of professional beverage experience
- previous bartender experience
- experience in high-volume restaurant, nightclub, or lounge
- knowledge of food and beverage menus
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced, busy, and sometimes stressful environment
- understanding of state alcohol regulations and alcohol awareness training
- ability to handle cash and POS systems
- physical stamina to stand, kneel, bend, and lift up to 75 lbs
- team-oriented mindset
Job Duties
- Anticipate and accommodate the needs of the guests
- provide professional and exceptional service
- present menus, answer questions, and make suggestions for all food and beverage items
- inform guests of all food and beverage specials, with prices
- solicit any allergy or dietary restrictions from each guest
- accurately enter all orders into the POS system and follow proper cash/payment card procedures
- ensure the delivery of all food and beverage to the guests at the bar and lounge where applicable
- maintain general cleanliness of bar and bar area and the entire venue
- organize liquor displays and shelving and maintain par levels
- follow supervisor’s instructions, communicate with and support co-workers, and be a team player
- possess in-depth knowledge of all food and beverage menus and the company
- serve all alcoholic beverages in accordance with all state regulations and alcohol awareness training standards
- comply with Department of Health and company sanitation standards
- accurately complete all end-of-shift financial procedures
- communicate guest needs to Front-of-House and Heart-of-House support staff, managers, and chefs
- properly set up the bar stations and perform side-work and other opening/closing procedures as directed by management
- report all breakage and damage of equipment or furniture immediately to management
- attend and participate in daily pre-service meetings and training sessions
- portray a positive and professional attitude
- demonstrate knowledge of Tao Group Hospitality, its partners, and supporting hotel environments
- work as part of a team and provide help and support to all fellow team members
- assist and/or complete additional tasks as assigned
