Known for its compassionate staff and resident-centered care, Freedom Pointe offers a welcoming atmosphere that emphasizes connection, growth, and well-being. As a thriving establishment within the senior living industry, it stands out for its commitment to quality, safety, and creating a true sense of home for those it serves. The role of bartender at Freedom Pointe at The Villages is integral to the enjoyment and social atmosphere within the community's cocktail lounge. In this position, you will be responsible for delivering excellent bar service to residents, guests, visitors, and families attending the lounge. The role requires a courteous, tactful approach, creating positive and memorable interactions with everyone you serve. You will work closely with supervisors and peers to ensure that the lounge operates smoothly and guests receive attentive, professional service. You will have the opportunity to enhance their social experiences by providing a comfortable, friendly, and welcoming environment in which they can relax and connect. Effective communication skills and the ability to follow instructions in English are essential for success in this role. Preferred candidates will have prior bartending experience in a hotel, restaurant, or club setting, ideally with exposure to fine dining service standards. Candidates must be at least 21 years old due to legal serving age requirements. Compensation for this role is $14.50 per hour in a non-tipped position, reflecting the core responsibilities and skill set required. Additionally, Freedom Pointe promotes job growth and development within the expanding senior living sector, offering a meaningful career path that makes a positive difference daily.
