Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year bartending experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic math ability
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of company and department rules, policies and procedures
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English
- Working knowledge of Micros
- Clark County Health Card
- Alcohol Awareness Card
Job Qualifications

- Ability to perform basic math
- Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships
- Full knowledge and understanding of company policies and procedures
- Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English
- Working knowledge of Micros
- Possession of a Clark County Health Card
- Possession of an Alcohol Awareness Card
Job Duties
- Follow proper register transaction procedures
- Adhere to the proper par stock procedures
- Have a complete understanding of all applicable laws and regulations concerning service of alcoholic beverages
- Complete and oversee set-up and clearing of the bar area
- Monitor and train novice bartenders as dictated by management
- Remain up-to-date on hotel current events and hours of operation of all food and beverage outlets
- Pour up to 240 drinks per hour consistently
- Read and follow specialty drink recipes as prepared by Beverage Manager
- Garnish all cocktails from the bar area
- Maintain accountability for all money at the bar
- Manage cash banks and slot banks exceeding $1,000
- Follow procedures for handling comps, room charges, credit cards, officer’s checks, and coupons
- Complete cash turn-in sheets, voids, and appropriate distribution
- Maintain a safe and sanitary workplace
- Provide courteous and friendly service to guests and team members
- Perform related work as requested
