The role of Dining Service Bartender at EverTrue is positioned within an upscale dining setting designed to offer a high-quality culinary experience to residents. This position is pivotal in delivering exceptional customer service, preparing and serving drinks based on standardized recipes, and assisting with a variety of dining functions to maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary environment. Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Ability to read and follow recipe instructions, diet orders, and work assignments
  • One year of bartending experience preferred
  • Willingness to perform routine and repetitive tasks with interruptions
  • Patience and tolerance towards staff, residents, and families
  • Ability to develop positive working and interpersonal relationships
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Service orientation and organizational skills
  • Effective communication and active listening
  • Must have or be willing to receive hepatitis A vaccine prior to start if working in St. Louis County

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Serve drinks to guests based on recipes in computer software
  • Serve 16 or more guests at a time
  • Recall orders upon request by guest
  • Check products for quality and correct any problems that may affect guest experience
  • Perform defined work routines using dining service utensils and equipment
  • Keep a well-stocked bar with adequate supplies and maintain inventory par levels
  • Collect money for drinks served and provide change
  • Check identification to verify legal age requirements
  • Provide excellent customer service reflective of an upscale dining experience
  • Take and serve food and beverage orders timely and appropriately
  • Greet customers with courtesy and address dissatisfied customers promptly
  • Know all menu details including allergens and preparation methods
  • Make recommendations to customers regarding the menu
  • Assist with dining service set-up including tables and buffets
  • Assist with food and supply receiving and storage, ensuring proper temperatures and timing
  • Assist with cleaning duties including busing tables, sweeping, mopping, washing dishes, and trash removal
