The Bartender role at Aramark is an essential position focused on providing exceptional customer service from the moment guests arrive until they leave the establishment. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum two years bartending experience preferred
  • Valid Food Handler Certificate required
  • Valid Alcohol Server Certification required
  • Must obtain certifications prior to start date if not currently held
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment
  • Good communication skills
  • Basic math aptitude
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift, bend, push, and pull as needed
  • Willingness to wear uniforms and use PPE

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience
  • Minimum two years full service bartending experience preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of mixed drink recipes
  • Experience with restaurant point of sales systems
  • Valid Food Handler Certificate
  • Valid Alcohol Server Certification
  • Good communication and social skills
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment
  • Basic math and counting skills
  • Ability to pour mixed drinks and draft beer
  • Must be 18 years or older to ring alcoholic sales
  • Strong interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Check patrons' identification to ensure age requirements for alcohol consumption
  • Prepare bar set-up as needed
  • Maintain accurate bar inventory including beer, liquor, wine, mixers, and supplies
  • Handle credit card sales accurately
  • Close out paid checks
  • Assist with set-up and break-down of bar equipment
  • Serve and sell alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
  • Maintain a cheerful demeanor while on duty
  • Inventory bar items before and after events and complete paperwork
  • Calculate cash at shift end and return bank to cash room
  • Perform opening and closing duties as assigned
  • Complete any other tasks assigned by management
