Job Description

Drury Hotels is a highly respected hospitality company known for its commitment to exceptional service and creating a welcoming environment for both guests and employees. Established with the goal of offering guests a home away from home, Drury Hotels has grown into a nationally recognized brand, celebrated for its dedication to quality accommodation, engaging amenities, and an inclusive workplace culture. Headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, Drury Hotels operates numerous properties across the United States, each one designed to provide comfort, convenience, and outstanding hospitality. The company prides itself on not only delivering memorable experiences to guests but also fostering a sense of belonging among its team members, emphasizing career growth, work-life balance, and comprehensive benefits.

At Drury Hotels, the role of maintaining the guest experience through overseeing the 5:30 p.m. Kickback — a signature complimentary happy hour event — is a vital position that ensures guests enjoy an exceptional and relaxing environment during their stay. This role involves managing the preparation and clean-up of the Kickback area, guaranteeing the seamless operation of this valued guest service. The position demands a high standard of cleanliness and organization within the kitchen and lobby areas, strict adherence to food safety standards, and maintaining adequate supply levels. As a representative of Drury Hotels' hospitality culture, the individual in this role must present integrity, warmth, and friendliness to guests and co-workers alike.

Working at Drury Hotels means being part of a company that values each team member's contribution and strives to provide not just a job but a place to belong and grow professionally. Employees benefit from flexible scheduling that respects work-life balance, along with paid time off and hotel discounts. Additionally, Drury Hotels supports career progression through mentorship, cross-training, development plans, and management training opportunities. Their comprehensive health and well-being benefits include medical, dental, vision, prescription coverage, life insurance, disability benefits, and access to a Team Member Assistance Program. Furthermore, the company offers financial security through a company-matched 401(k) plan.

Drury Hotels has been recognized as one of Newsweek's America’s Greatest Workplaces for 2025, underlining their commitment to a positive and rewarding work environment. This role at the St. Louis location provides an immediate opportunity for those with a can-do spirit and enthusiasm for delivering exceptional guest experiences to join the team and advance their careers within a supportive and award-winning organization. The ideal candidate will be a friendly, energetic communicator who understands hotel accommodations and services, possesses the ability to manage inventory related to food items, and can foster a pleasant and comfortable atmosphere for guests during the 5:30 Kickback event. This position is an excellent fit for those seeking a dynamic hospitality role with room for growth, meaningful work, and comprehensive benefits.
