  • experience in bartending or a related field
  • knowledge of state and local liquor laws
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to stand for extended periods

  • Experience in bartending or a similar role
  • knowledge of mixing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
  • ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in a bar environment
  • excellent customer service and communication skills
  • understanding of state and local liquor laws
  • ability to work well in a team
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in a restaurant setting preferred

Job Duties

  • Report to work as indicated on the work schedule and in the correct uniform
  • practice positive personal hygiene and cleanliness habits during all work shifts
  • correctly set up the bar and complete all opening and side work duties
  • order, requisition, and stock all liquor, beverage, and other bar supplies
  • mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for bar and dining room guests
  • greet all bar guests immediately, make suggestions, and answer questions
  • take, record, and ring all food and beverage items ordered by bar guests
  • observe bar guests to ensure satisfaction with food, beverages, and service
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar counter and work areas
  • adhere to and comply with all state and local liquor laws and ABE policies
  • practice teamwork by assisting fellow employees whenever possible
  • communicate any guest concerns or dissatisfaction to the manager on duty
  • present the guest check and process payment for all food and beverages sold
  • perform the cashiering function for the service staff and restaurant
  • perform all duties and maintain knowledge of all ABE standards and procedures
