Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous bartending experience required
- Knowledge of alcohol service laws and regulations
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25-30 lbs
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience required
- Hotel or upscale lounge experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, wine, and beer
- Excellent communication and guest service skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25-30 lbs
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and guest preferences
- Provide attentive, friendly, and professional service to all guests
- Maintain full knowledge of the cocktail menu, wine list, and beer selections
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, process payments, and manage a personal cash bank
- Set up, restock, and maintain bar inventory, garnishes, tools, and supplies
- Ensure the bar, lounge, and service areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with sanitation standards
- Check guest identification and follow all alcohol service laws and hotel policies
- Handle guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth service flow
- Perform opening and closing duties, including cleaning, restocking, and preparing the bar for the next shift
