Beyond luxury accommodations, PBC is home to five acclaimed golf courses, such as the iconic Pebble Beach Golf Links, which is slated to host the 2027 U.S. Open, Spyglass Hill Golf Course, The Links at Spanish Bay, Del Monte Golf Course, and The Hay, designed by Tiger Woods. These courses coupled with the breathtaking 17-Mile Drive, The Spa at Pebble Beach—which has received Forbes Five-Star certification since 2014—and the Pebble Beach Golf Academy & Practice Facility make it a top destination for travelers and golf enthusiasts alike.

The company also offers diverse culinary and retail experiences and hosts several premier events annually, including the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, TaylorMade Pebble Beach Invitational, Pebble Beach Food & Wine, and PURE Insurance Championship. These signature events, along with the exceptional resort amenities, contribute to the company’s reputation for excellence and luxury hospitality.

The Bartender role at PebbleBeach Company is a key position integral to delivering exceptional guest experiences across the company’s acclaimed lodging, dining, and recreation outlets. Positioned within the dynamic food and beverage operations, the bartender is responsible for providing prompt, courteous service of all beverages and food, both at the bar and in the dining room, as ordered through the micros point-of-sale system. This role demands expertise in preparing espresso-based beverages and delivering accurate service of bottlenecked wines tailored to guest preferences. The position requires a professional, friendly demeanor and a team-oriented approach to ensure seamless, high-quality guest service that aligns with the company’s commitment to luxury hospitality.

As a bartender at PBC, you will be entrusted with several essential duties including maintaining bar inventory and ensuring proper stock levels, daily bar orders, sanitizing bar equipment, monitoring guest alcohol consumption responsibly in compliance with A.B.C. liquor laws, and supporting the overall cleanliness and presentation of the bar environment. The role involves active interaction with guests, from greeting to handling complex orders and payment processing via the POS system. Supporting other floor staff by delivering food and beverages and assisting with event setups further highlights the role’s collaborative nature.

Working as a bartender at PebbleBeach Company is not just about mixing drinks; it’s about becoming an ambassador of impeccable service and luxury. You must exhibit excellent communication skills, speed, accuracy, and attention to detail, ensuring every guest’s experience is memorable. The company values safety, health, and sanitation, expecting adherence to all established policies. Bartenders here have the opportunity to grow professionally within a renowned company that supports ongoing learning and career advancement.

Employment with PBC offers competitive pay, ranging from $21.62 to $25.44 per hour plus gratuity, along with benefits provided by the Unite Here Union, including health insurance and retirement plans. Employees enjoy exclusive discounts across all PebbleBeach restaurants, retail shops, and the Forbes Five Star Spa, and access to employee golf privileges. Additionally, a complimentary meal during shifts and employee hotel discounts at select times underscore the company’s commitment to employee well-being.

Choosing to work at PebbleBeach Company means joining a prestigious employer that fosters a positive, inclusive workplace—proudly maintaining an EEO/AA workplace with drug-free policies and pre-employment substance abuse testing.
