The opportunity at hand is for a full-time Bartender position located at Delta MCI - 1 Kansas City Boulevard, Kansas City, MO 64153. This role is integral to maintaining Eurest’s high standards of service within their bar operations in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The company seeks experienced bartenders who are enthusiastic about providing excellent customer service, skilled in crafting and serving beverages, and committed to maintaining compliance with all state, federal, and corporate liquor laws.
The Bartender will be responsible for setting up and maintaining the bar area, ensuring it is well-stocked with beer, wine, spirits, condiments, glassware, ice, and fresh garnishes prepared daily. The role requires a courteous and friendly approach to greeting guests, taking drink orders accurately, mixing and presenting drinks according to standardized recipes, and monitoring consumption to prevent service to intoxicated guests. Financial responsibilities include handling cash transactions, verifying charge validity, recording sales, and securing deposits. Ensuring health and safety standards through routine cleaning of the work area, sterilization of glassware, and a well-organized bar display is also critical to this position.

Job Duties
- adheres to state, federal and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests
- sets up assigned bars
- requisitions and stocks all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice and produce
- maintains stock, prepares, cures and stores all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables to ensure product quality
- greets guests in a courteous, friendly manner
- takes and/or processes orders for drinks
- mixes, garnishes and presents drinks using standard ingredient recipes
- practices prudent portion control
- checks guests at the bar for proper identification
- detects and acts upon guest inebriation as trained
- demonstrates knowledge of liquor laws
- receives cash from guests, makes change, verifies validity of charges, records charges and ensures vouchers are properly executed
- locks up and stores all beverage product, food, equipment items, deposits and cash drops
- secures bank
- performs general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards
- keeps work area clean and organized
- arranges bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive display in the bar area
- washes and sterilizes stemware
- performs other duties as assigned
