The Bartender role at The Ambassador Hotel is critical to delivering exceptional guest experiences. This hourly position requires responsibility for the full setup of the bar area and preparation of mixed drinks for both guests and servers. The Bartender must uphold the highest standards of service and cleanliness, ensuring prompt and professional attention to every guest's beverage needs. Maintaining control over liquor inventory and adhering to all state liquor laws are key components of the role. The successful candidate will be attentive, courteous, and friendly at all times, fostering an inviting environment while efficaciously managing customer interactions and potential challenges. Duties encompass preparation and presentation of beverages, following prescribed liquor serving procedures, responding to guest issues, and ensuring the overall guest experience at the bar is enjoyable and safe. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in hotel or related field preferred
- Flexible availability with capacity to work long hours
- Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally
- Ability to stand during entire shift
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner
- Ability to listen and address concerns

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in hotel or related field preferred

- Knowledge of bar safety and hygiene standards
- Willingness to attend hotel training and meetings
Job Duties
- Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times
- Be attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to guests, managers and fellow employees
- Set up the bar according to hotel standards and ensure prompt and efficient service
- Prepare beverages and cocktails according to hotel mixing and presentation standards
- Serve guests with all beverage requirements in a friendly, courteous and professional manner
- Break down bar after functions, storing liquor, supplies and equipment per hotel standards
- Follow all state liquor laws and hotel safety policies
