Not limited to just steak houses, Prime Hospitality Group has successfully expanded into various food and beverage concepts and ventured into the hotel hospitality arena, creating a diverse and dynamic portfolio of service-centered brands. The company is known for fostering a workplace culture that empowers its team members, supports career growth, and embraces core values that drive exceptional hospitality and memorable guest experiences.
At the heart of Prime Hospitality Group’s culinary portfolio is Ruth’s Chris Steak House, a revered steak house brand celebrated for over fifty years and famed for delivering what is known as "The Sizzle." This brand represents the cornerstone of the company’s commitment to excellence in the hospitality industry. The opportunity to join Prime Hospitality Group as a Bartender under the guidance of the General Manager positions candidates in a vital role where they contribute directly to the outstanding experience guests expect when dining at Ruth’s Chris Steak House.
The Bartender plays an essential role in preparing and serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to the strict recipes and service standards that Ruth’s Chris Steak House is known for. This position is instrumental in ensuring that guests receive perfectly crafted drinks complemented by attentive and timely service, enhancing every dining moment. The Bartender not only serves beverages but also acts as a cashier for bar patrons and monitors guest satisfaction to promptly address any needs or requests.
This role is demanding and requires dedication to maintaining high standards, from personal appearance to professional conduct in a fast-paced environment. The Bartender must efficiently manage tasks such as setting up the bar, completing opening and closing duties, stocking supplies, and adhering to state and local liquor laws. The role requires excellent multitasking skills, a comprehensive knowledge of cocktail recipes, spirits, wines, and the ability to recommend drinks that suit the preferences and budgets of diverse guests. Accuracy in operating point-of-sale systems, managing inventory, and issuing receipts is also critical.
Candidates who excel in this role exhibit exceptional attention to detail, strong communication and conflict resolution skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. The company values team members who embrace its culture of inclusivity and continuous learning, and who are willing to grow their skills through structured training programs. Flexibility in scheduling to include nights, weekends, and holidays aligns with the hospitality industry’s peak hours.
Joining Prime Hospitality Group means working with a company that is not only a market leader but one that actively supports equity, diversity, and inclusion within its workforce. As an equal opportunity employer, they promote an environment free from discrimination and harassment and base their hiring decisions purely on qualifications, merit, and business needs. Candidates who are authorized to work in the United States and meet the necessary certifications, such as a valid alcohol serving permit and possibly SERV Safe certification, are encouraged to apply.
This Bartender position is more than just a job; it is an opportunity to be part of a prestigious brand renowned for its quality and hospitality.
