The role of Bartender at Levy involves preparing and serving beverages to guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner. The bartender ensures adherence to all state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations, including checking guests for proper identification and managing guest inebriation responsibly. Bartenders set up assigned bar areas, stock all necessary items such as beer, wine, spirits, condiments, glassware, and fresh produce, and maintain garnishes and perishables to the highest quality. Greeting guests warmly and efficiently taking and processing drink orders are essential to the job, alongside mixing, garnishing, and presenting drinks according to standard recipes with prudent portion control. The role also includes handling cash transactions accurately, securing the cash bank, performing general cleaning, sanitizing stemware, and organizing the bar to maintain an attractive and professional appearance.
