The role of Bartender at Levy involves preparing and serving beverages to guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner. The bartender ensures adherence to all state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations, including checking guests for proper identification and managing guest inebriation responsibly. Bartenders set up assigned bar areas, stock all necessary items such as beer, wine, spirits, condiments, glassware, and fresh produce, and maintain garnishes and perishables to the highest quality. Greeting guests warmly and efficiently taking and processing drink orders are essential to the job, alongside mixing, garnishing, and presenting drinks according to standard recipes with prudent portion control. The role also includes handling cash transactions accurately, securing the cash bank, performing general cleaning, sanitizing stemware, and organizing the bar to maintain an attractive and professional appearance. By fostering a welcoming atmosphere and providing excellent service, Levy bartenders contribute significantly to creating unforgettable experiences for guests. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages
  • Ability to comply with all liquor laws and regulations
  • Reliable and punctual with flexible availability
  • Basic cash handling abilities
  • Ability to communicate clearly and provide excellent customer service
  • Capable of working in a physically demanding environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous bartending or customer service experience is an asset
  • Knowledge of state and federal liquor laws
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic math skills for handling cash and making change
  • Positive attitude and team player mindset
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
  • Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and food safety

Job Duties

  • Adheres to state, federal and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests
  • Sets up assigned bars
  • requisitions and stocks all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice and produce
  • Maintains stock, prepares, cures and stores all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables to ensure product quality
  • Greets guests in a courteous, friendly manner
  • Takes and/or processes orders for drinks
  • mixes, garnishes and presents drinks using standard ingredient recipes

  • Detects and acts upon guest inebriation as trained
  • Demonstrates knowledge of liquor laws
