The group continually evolves to meet modern dining preferences and expects to expand its brand with the opening of Ebbitt House in summer 2026 at Reston Station on the Silver Metro Line. Ebbitt House is set to serve iconic American classics reminiscent of those at Old Ebbitt Grill, complemented by twice-daily happy hours, a vibrant oyster-fueled raw bar, and impressive towering seafood displays, positioning itself as a must-visit restaurant in the region.
The role of Bartender at Clyde's Restaurant Group, especially at the soon-to-open Ebbitt House, offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality and beverage service. This position is an excellent fit for candidates eager to join a stable and respected company that values skill recognition and professional growth. Bartenders at Clyde's are pivotal in delivering outstanding customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and ensuring memorable guest experiences through expert drink preparation and bar management. The establishment offers competitive pay ranging from $800 to $1100 per week and flexible scheduling options, including part-time, full-time, and on-call shifts, accommodating various lifestyles and needs.
Clyde's emphasizes a positive, respectful work culture where courtesy and dignity are paramount. The team receives comprehensive training through both classroom sessions and on-premises experiences, ensuring every bartender is equipped with the necessary knowledge and techniques. The bartending role involves maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bar area, managing inventory and stock, preparing and serving drinks according to standardized recipes, handling transactions, verifying age compliance, and engaging with customers to foster a friendly, hospitable environment. Employees benefit from a generous 401k plan with immediate participation, exclusive restaurant and meal discounts, comprehensive health plans including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as wellness and financial assistance programs.
Clyde's Restaurant Group actively promotes career advancement and honors excellence with merit recognitions. Joining Clyde's is not only about securing a job but embarking on a rewarding and progressive hospitality career. The group seeks friendly, hardworking individuals dedicated to hospitality, problem solving, and communication, with prior bartending experience and flexible availability.
