This role as a Bartender at Rye Street Tavern is an exciting opportunity for individuals who thrive in fast-paced, customer-centric settings and are passionate about hospitality. With a competitive pay range of $900 to $2000 per week, the position offers a variety of shifts including part-time, full-time, and on-call, allowing flexibility to fit diverse schedules. The bartender is expected to maintain the highest level of service by preparing and serving drinks, engaging with guests to create a friendly atmosphere, and ensuring the bartender station is meticulously clean and well-stocked. Job Duties

  • Wipe, clean, and polish the bar counter, shelves, bottles, glasses, and equipment
  • Inventory and stock the bar for setup with beverages, garnishes, and supplies
  • Receive drink orders from patrons and wait staff
  • Mix ingredients (i.e., liquor, mixers and juices, sugar, fruit, etc.) in preparing orders according to standard recipes
  • Ring drink and food orders from bar patrons into the register
  • Count inventories, requisition products, and restock the bar with beverages, utensils, linen, boutique products, and supplies
  • Stock clean glassware on glass shelves behind the bar
  • Slice, peel, and arrange fruit and other garnishes
  • Disassemble, clean, and reassemble blenders and other equipment
  • Receive, ring up, collect money, and make change for employee shift meals
  • Count and verify banks at the start of the shift, take a revenue report from the register, and count and reconcile banks against sales at the end of the shift
  • Collect and verify waiter banks from the wait staff at the end of the shift
  • Check IDs to verify drinking age
  • Socialize at the bar with patrons to create friendliness
  • Break down the bar at the end of the day and clean counters, shelves, refrigerators, storage cabinets, sinks, floors, and restock to closing par levels
