Golden Valley Golf and Country operates with a commitment to quality, professionalism, and community engagement, making it a sought-after destination for those who value both excellence and relaxation.

The bartender position at Golden Valley Golf and Country is a vital role contributing to the club's high standards of customer service and satisfaction. This role is available for both full-time and part-time employment, with competitive hourly pay set at $15.00 plus service charge tips, making it an attractive opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality and guest interaction. Working hours are variable, covering days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, which allows for a dynamic work schedule accommodating different availabilities.

As a bartender, the individual will be responsible for providing members and guests with exceptional and memorable experiences through friendly, prompt, and positive service. The bartender must carefully check IDs, monitor alcohol consumption to ensure safety, and communicate effectively with kitchen staff to relay special food orders.

In addition to serving drinks, the bartender will also engage in sales activities such as up-selling food and drink specials and promoting upcoming club events. Operational duties include setting up and stocking the bar at the beginning of shifts, maintaining cleanliness and order at the bar area, and assisting co-workers with various tasks such as clearing, serving, and resetting tables to maintain smooth service flow.

Physical endurance is an important aspect of this role, as it involves standing and walking for extended periods, as well as lifting and moving items weighing up to 35 pounds. This position fosters a team-oriented environment where employees support each other to ensure all service areas are run efficiently and in compliance with health and safety regulations.

Golden Valley Golf and Country is an equal opportunity employer, welcoming applications from all qualified candidates regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, familial status, disability, veteran status, or any other protected status under applicable laws. The club offers a comprehensive benefits package to full-time employees, including 401k with match, dental and vision insurance, health insurance, health savings and flexible spending accounts, paid time off, company-paid life insurance, AD and D LTD, meals, and golf privileges.

This bartender role is perfect for individuals who thrive in a customer-focused, fast-paced environment and who are eager to contribute to a high-quality service experience.
