The Bartender role at Southall Farm and Inn is integral to this high-caliber hospitality experience. Positioned at Sojourner, the lively heart of the Inn, the bartender welcomes guests to partake in exceptional wine, spirits, and craft mixed drinks knowledge underpinned by an intimate understanding of preparation methods. This position is a special opportunity for individuals passionate about culinary consciousness to contribute to a setting where the journey from seed to plate is celebrated daily. Bartenders are expected to anticipate and respond to guest needs quickly, providing vivid, engaging descriptions of beverages and maintaining comprehensive product knowledge to enhance the guest experience. Beyond drink preparation, the role requires adept use of point-of-sale systems, accurate transaction handling, and collaboration with team members to maintain a seamless service environment. The role demands not only technical bartending skills but also a warm, communicative, and detail-oriented approach combined with strong problem-solving capabilities. Candidates must be physically able to lift up to 50 pounds, work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays, and meet all safety certifications such as TABC. Job Requirements

Job Duties
- Prepare and serve a selection of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks from the menu while ensuring proper pouring, mixing, and blending according to established recipes and established standards
- Confirm guest orders including any special needs or requests from the lounge server using the hotel's point-of-sales system
- Service and take orders from guests seated at the bar area offering interesting, and vivid descriptions of each item's, origin, taste, and preparation methods
- maintain a working knowledge of liquors, wines, beers, and specialty liqueurs
- Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, offer suggestions, respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests
- Properly and accurately close guest checks, process cash and credit card payments, properly settle voided checks or complimentary items
- Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors
- Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by Southall Leadership
