Ambassadors at SeaWorld play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while also contributing to the company’s mission of bringing excitement and lasting memories to park visitors.

As an Ambassador focused on bartending and beverage service, you will combine your expertise in mixology with exceptional guest interaction skills to create and serve a variety of delicious and refreshing drinks and food items. Your role entails following recipe and presentation standards to maintain product quality, checking IDs responsibly to comply with alcohol consumption laws, and upselling premium products to enhance guest satisfaction. You will also monitor guest alcohol consumption according to company policies and state regulations, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all visitors.

Beyond serving drinks, you will engage with guests to understand their preferences and answer any questions they might have, operating the cash register efficiently to manage transactions. Maintaining clean and sanitary work areas will also be an essential part of your duties to meet health and safety standards. SeaWorld guarantees a base wage with tips, providing financial stability for Ambassadors.

This position is ideal for candidates who meet the minimum age requirement of 18 years and possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Experience is highly valued, with a preference for those with at least two years in bartending roles, particularly in high-volume nightclubs, bars, or restaurants. Familiarity with popular drink recipes like margaritas, cosmopolitans, and mojitos is essential, alongside knowledge of beer, liquor, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages. Candidates should also be certified in food and beverage safety and have a solid understanding of state and local beverage safety regulations.
